On May 10, PhiChem Corporation, in collaboration with East China University of Science and Technology, successfully held the "Little Materials Scientist" public science outreach program, which took place at Jiefang Road Primary School.
The event brought together students and parents from five schools, including Jianghai No. 1 Primary School, Jiefang Road Primary School, Touqiao Primary School, Xidu Primary School, and the Affiliated Primary School of Shanghai Normal University. Senior representatives from PhiChem Corporation, including Vice General Manager Wu Jinxian and Planning Director He Yunyang, as well as leadership from participating schools and academic institutions, attended the event. Guests also included Professor Dai Sheng, a well-known science communicator and recipient of the Shanghai "Emerging Science Popularization Figure" award, and Associate Party Secretary Guan Yimeng from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology.
The program used interactive experiments and hands-on activities to transform abstract materials science concepts into observable and engaging experiences.
